Seafood Spectacular 2025

In early 2025, our Seafood Spectacular will be back with even bigger and fresher delights sourced locally!

This is the Club’s main fundraiser, and this year, we will use the surplus to make repairs to our main pontoon.

Our cook is still finalising the menu.  Below is an indicative menu which will change slightly.  We will get the menu priced in early January.  The prawns are priced closer to the day when the trawler gives us his price.

You can secure your spot at the Seafood Spectacular with a $25 non-refundable deposit.

We run the event each year, but many people don’t book. When this happens, we run out of seafood, which is disappointing for people who have booked.

Where possible, we will prioritise service for people who have booked.  However, it is a busy day – so please book.

We are again taking a $25 deposit upfront, which you can use at the Bistro and Prawn bar to make purchases during the day. 

If you can’t attend, please let us know by Monday, January 13, 2025, and we will mail you a $25 voucher for future club visits.

Members and guests with pre-paid vouchers are encouraged to arrive early from 10:30 am, as we will have staff at the gate to check vouchers and admit you for seating at your table.

The Club’s main gates will remain closed to the general public until approximately 12:30 pm. From 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm and onwards, we will open the gates to people without bookings.  

Please remember to bring your receipt to gain entry. Initially, only those with pre-paid vouchers will be admitted through the Club doors.

🤝 Join the Team:  Volunteer for the Seafood Spectacular! 🌟

For the Seafood Spectacular to be a success (so we can fund some repairs to our main pontoon) we need around 10-15 volunteers each year.

The tasks we need help with are:

• Operating the can bar
• Operating the prawn bar
• Running some raffles
• Loading back fridges with alcohol
• Taking plates and cutlery back to the bistro 
• Putting up and taking down some marques
• Collecting glasses for the bar
• Putting rubbish in the bins.

We will provide lunch, refreshments and a small bag of prawns for our volunteers to take home.  In addition, we will provide each volunteer with a $25 voucher to use at the Club on a different day to the seafood.

📌 Reminders

Just a reminder that LSC is a licensed club, so no alcohol or eskies are allowed to be brought onto the club premises when the club is open.

We encourage you to come early and find your table if you are attending.  Tracey Rore will help people find their tables from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
