Come over to the Little Ship Club and enjoy fresh sea breezes on our gorgeous waterfront with live music by Bird Jazz Blues Duo on Saturday 8 July 2023 (12:00pm to 4:00pm).
Nationally acclaimed duo Bird are Milena Cifali, award winning songwriter and one of Australia’s leading female guitarists and Jim Horvath, double bassist.
Performing a great selection of jazz and blues as well as much loved songs from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.
Festival highlights: The National, Cobargo, Alice springs and Merimbula Jazz Festival.
Their album Poplar Road receives national airplay, featuring freshly crafted songs from the heart.
Soulful songs by Milena encompassing humanity, nature, love found and lost.
Milena was awarded a commendation in the UK international songwriting competition, semi finalist in the International Songwriting Competition and finalist in the World Songwriting Awards 2021 and 2022.
After losing their home, birds, and instruments to the bushfires in Mallacoota in New Years Eve, Bird has relocated to Brisbane where they perform regularly.
