Still Standing Live

Come to the Little Ship Club and listen to Still Standing live on Saturday 30 September.

Come over to the Little Ship Club, enjoy fresh sea breezes on our unique waterfront paradise with live music by Still Standing (12pm to 4pm). The bistro is open for lunch from 11:30 to 2:30pm.

Still Standing is comprised of musos who’ve been around too long to take themselves too seriously. If you like the sound of Santana, Otis Redding, Van Morrison, Joe Cocker, Garry More or the Commitments, you’ll have a good time.

The glue in the 6-piece line-up is the 3 original members of the successful early 70s Brisbane band ‘Gentle Art’. Singer Dick Grantley, drummer Stu Hoffman and bass player Gary Meehan have played together now for over 45 years. Keyboard player Carlos Sibilin, guitarist Thomas Lloyd and keyboard/sax player Hugh Bristow joined the band many years ago and contribute to maintaining their tight, progressive, bluesy, rock/soul sound. 

The LSC Bistro is one of the best destinations on Straddie to enjoy a delicious meal, a cold beverage, on our gorgeous waterfront with truly amazing sunsets.
