Come to the Little Ship Club’s next member bay outing to Days Gutter, Moreton Island, from 18 to 19 February 2023.
Days Gutter is one of Moreton Bays most beautiful anchorages. Surrounded by sandbanks, it is a well-protected and deep anchorage.
The surrounding sandbanks are home to turtle and dugong populations so drive slowly in your tenders and you may be in for a treat.
Enjoy lunch or dinner at the Gutter Bar.
The world-famous Gutter Bar is beautifully positioned right on the beach. It takes it’s name from Days Gutter which is the channel northwest of Kooringal.
Dine on fresh Moreton Bay seafood or sensational burgers for lunch or dinner. The bar is renowned for its fresh oysters and seafood caught by local trawlers. Check our their menu
Our Itinerary:
- Leave from LSC Saturday morning early travelling as a fleet
- Stay overnight at Kooringal and enjoy lunch or dinner at the Gutter Bar
- Go sight seeing in your tenders to see the Moreton wild life
- Leave from Kooringal Sunday and travel back to LSC
(Tides: Saturday 0809 at 2.57m and Sunday 0900 at 2.69m.)
