The Little Ship Club (Queensland Squadron) is an organisation that is steeped in more than half-a-century of the boating history of beautiful Moreton Bay. In fact, we celebrated our 69th anniversary in October 2020!
The Club has much to offer to boating families and keen anglers, with our Fishing and Game Fishing events and tournaments as well as cruising and sailing races and various events during the year. We pride ourselves on being a family-oriented club, with our water front location, expanse of lawns, club rooms, bistro, casual bar, barbecue facilities, pontoon and swing moorings, all of which give our members the ideal location to relax away from the ‘daily grind’ of city life.
The Club itself is a unique and perfect location for both corporate and private events, exhibitions, meetings, parties, performances and weddings, all of which can be arranged through our onsite managers.
We are proud of our location being the ‘best on the bay’ with our spectacular over water sunsets and relaxing environment. Our location is handy for day-tripping members and guests who may choose to use the various water taxi connections from Cleveland, one of which disembarks a few steps away from the Club gate.
The Little Ship Club is an ideal venue for lunch or dinner prepared by our award-winning chefs, followed by a lazy cruise back to the mainland.
Our membership fees are very reasonable indeed and provide great value. There is no other secluded anchorage on the eastern side of Moreton Bay with our range of onsite facilities and such easy access to offsite services – all of which are just a half hour to a couple of hours from Brisbane’s bayside suburbs. Make the Little Ship Club a ‘must-call’ while on the Bay and enjoy the privileges of LSC membership.
Whether you are a new or returning member, or a first-time visitor, we look forward to welcoming you to our ‘little piece of paradise’ at the One Mile.
